In 1968 Scott's father, Norton Halper, known to his friends and industry types as "Pucci" (póo-chee), ran the "Classic Cat" on the fabulous Sunset strip, as well as "Largo" which we now know as the Roxy. During his tenure at these clubs, he was often cast in productions that happened to be filming there; most notably "Mantis in Lace" (1969). Scott got all the requisite showbiz perks accorded the son of an industry man. But the most splendid by far was the night Pucci brought the women pictured here on this original matchbook cover home to baby-sit the young Tycoon of Pre-teen. And it wasn't only a one night stand, if you know what I mean. |
